HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

1.  Orders can be placed:-

  • Online (see details below)

  • Via email 

  • Via fax - 01302 564850 

2.  We accept payment for all orders by cheque/postal order, direct bank transfer or via credit/debit card using an online secure server.  We DO NOT accept payment over the telephone.

3.  If you have a query re delivery dates etc, please call 01302 564850 or 0560 270 1426 and leave if message if you encounter the ansaphone (active at busy times and when closed).

 

HOW THE SHOPPING CART SYSTEM WORKS

1.    Stock permitting, orders will be despatched within seven working days (often sooner) and you will receive notification of despatch via e-mail.  In the event that an item is out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and despatch it as soon as it arrives.  

If your order is Urgent, please mark 'Urgent' and state latest acceptable delivery date - if we cannot meet it we will let you know via e-mail by return and send you an immediate refund.  If your order is non-urgent, please state your desired delivery date ie asap or 7 days.

We use Royal Mail Signed For, Special Delivery or APC Couriers, which require a signature. If no-one is available to sign for the delivery, they’ll leave a card so that you can arrange to collect the parcel from your local office/arrange another delivery.  Unfortunately we cannot leave deliveries ‘hidden’ but you can supply us with an alternative delivery address on your order form where someone will be able to accept the delivery for you – ie work, neighbour, relatives. 

2.  Select the country for delivery - at this point overseas customers can insert a EURO VAT number if applicable – click OK.

3.  On the Order Details page you can increase/decrease the items required, choose a shipping option (should the incorrect option be chosen you will be notified of any price difference prior to despatch of your order) and either Continue Shopping or Proceed to Checkout.  VAT @ 17.5% will also be calculated showing you the total amount for your order.

4.  Until you reach the Checkout stage, you are under no obligation to fulfil the order, it is only at the point of completing the Checkout process that your order details reach our system.

5.  At Checkout you will be asked to complete your contact and delivery details, enter any special instructions and choose a method of payment.

6.  If you choose to pay by cheque/postal order, please print off a copy of your invoice and send with your payment to the address stated on the invoice – cheques should be made payable to ‘Sheer Finesse’.

POSTAGE CHARGES - THESE ARE ONLY APPLICABLE ONCE ROYAL MAIL IS NO LONGER ON STRIKE

The following postage charges are applicable for the UK.  If you live overseas the online shopping cart system is set up to apply the appropriate postal charges and you can also view the total in Euros or US Dollars.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

1. 

Stock permitting, all orders are usually despatched to arrive with UK customers within seven working days.  In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and despatch it as soon as it arrives.

2.  All prices are shown in UK Pounds and exclude VAT @ 17.5%.

3.  Payment Terms for All Orders: 100% upon confirmation of order.   

4.  Notification will be sent via e-mail when goods are ready for despatch.  Sheer Finesse accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of goods during transit.  Each order despatched is carefully packed to ensure minimum damage is caused during transit.  In the unfortunate situation of damage during transit, please notify us immediately either by email or telephone and also in writing within 7 days.  All orders are despatched via either First Class Recorded Delivery or Courier therefore a signature will be required upon arrival.  Overseas orders are sent either via AirSure/International Signed for Mail or via courier - please note Sheer Finesse is not liable for any tax charges incurred by receiving country.  

5.  Refunds (minus original postage charges)/exchanges will be offered on any items that are found to be faulty, or not despatched to the agreed specifications, as long as the fault/error is reported within 7 days and upon receipt of returned goods in their original packaging.  Please ask before ordering if you are unsure.  However,  bespoke items, special order items where a sample has been approved and goods returned in an un-saleable condition will not be accepted.  Any application for a refund must be made within 7 days of delivery and the item/s returned within 7 days by Recorded Delivery, without exception.  We regret that we cannot be held responsible for returned goods lost in the post.  Please quote your order reference number beginning RC to help us deal with your query quickly. 

6.  The above Terms and Conditions do not alter or limit your statutory rights.
